About the job Technical Sales Manager

The candidate who is technically sound in the mechanical design, manufacture,
servicing and estimation of Heat Exchangers used in the Oil, Gas, Power and Petrochemical industry. In particular a sound understanding of the Abu Dhabi market and ADNOC on site and Off Shore procedures and Shutdown / Turnaround projects, servicing and repair work for Heat Exchangers.
Ability to grow the role and manage a team of 10 to 15 staff.\xef\xbb\xbf Work Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • 15+ years professional experience in Technical Sales Management in Heat Exchangers
  • Experience in offshore / onshore project handling for 10 years in Abu Dhabi and UAE
  • Experience in Heat exchanger maintenance projects for 10 years
  • Experience in shutdown projects
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • High-level communication skills
  • Conflict resolution
  • Experience in estimation of heat exchanger maintenance and service projects, retubing, repair, cleaning, hydro jetting, chemical circulation.

Responsibilities:
  • Thorough and sound understanding of Heat Exchanger Sales and Servicing Requirements
  • Mechanical and Thermal Design background preferred.
  • Experience working in a R Stamp certified business
  • Set and achieve sales targets, develop a comprehensive sales plan and forecasts to identify a steady stream on pipeline prospects.
  • Ensure the team delivers compelling technical presentations that drive sales
  • The Technical Sales Manager will utilise deep technical acumen to educate the team on products, services, competitors and prospects. Manage contract negotiations and nurture key relationships with customers.
  • Very strong technical knowledge of Heat Exchangers.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the Middle East and Energy Industry in particular within ADNOC.
  • Strong knowledge of Heat Exchanger Servicing is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
