Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of Technical Program Management experience.
  • Experience in optical networking and planning.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Experience in cloud computing, enterprise software, operating systems, security, storage, or network services.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree.
  • Experience with various carrier, cloud, or collocation products and services in an operational, engineering, or implementation role.
  • Experience with analytical coding and frameworks including SQL, R, Go, or Python is beneficial.
  • Experience in Middle East data center and network infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Network Planning including dark fibre, wavelengths, cloud computing, content delivery, and subsea cable infrastructure investments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish strategic roadmaps for Google\'s metro production network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with strategic negotiators and designers to develop network infrastructure execution plans and business case approvals.
  • Use technical judgment to create solutions for custom-cloud network requests.
  • Translate edge and network forecasts into actionable network infrastructure projects.
  • Review and thoroughly understand Google Network architecture standards.
