Position Technical Presales Engineer. Introduction - SensorTec is a multinational security systems manufacturer established in 2000 specializing in manufacturing custom innovative solutions for military, law enforcement, public authorities and private sectors. - SensorTec HQ and Factory: Cambridge, UK. - SensorTec MENA Office: Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities - Act as a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales technical advices. - Liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as design, development, purchasing, senior company managers and technical consultants. - Maintain and share an understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets. - Formulate, compile and evaluate project contracting documents including technical proposals, pricing structures, vendor selection and technical specifications for tendering purposes. - Ensure that the customer is communicated within a timely manner and treated with the highest degree of respect. - Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records. - Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. - Make powerful technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs. - Help in the design of custom-made products. - Provide training and produce technical material for other members of the sales team. Qualifications - BE (Communications, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering) with V.Good grade or 2.7 GPA. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a field relevant to SensorTec industry. - A solid technical background. - Ability to communicate confidently with SensorTec clients in fluent English. - Customer advocacy, empathy, and keen attention to detail. - Deal with and learn new design tools. - Network design fundamentals. - Graphics design skills (Familiar with adobe design tools). - Experienced in MS Excel and PowerPoint. - Communication and presentation skills. - The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Independence and self-reliance. General Information - Work Location: SensorTec MENA office, Dubai Internet City, Dubai-UAE. - Working hours: Sunday to Friday with flexible work hours (from office or remotely). - Report to Technical Sales Manager at SensorTec MENA office. - Gender: Female.
