What you will do

The Senior Presales Engineer is a key role reporting to the Senior Key Accounts Manager - Data Center, working in our direct business throughout the Middle East region. As Senior Presales Engineer, you will be based in Dubai and work with a team that works closely with the data center business for the JCI products & solution portfolio, specifically HVAC, Fire Systems, Building Management Systems, and Security, and is passionate about rapidly growing our footprint and data center customer base to meet our strong growth objectives.

As a member of this team, you will perform pre-sales activities for Datacenter critical infrastructure, with a focus on Applied Airside for the Data Center & Telecom - CRAC/CRAH, Fan Wall Units, shelter cooling, and Chillers is a plus.

As a member of this team, you will operate in a multifaceted environment that allows you to apply your expertise to assist us in achieving our GCC region's commercial goals.

How you will do it

As a Senior Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support through extensive technical knowledge of HVAC Equipment for the Data Center & Telecom sector to Sales, Project, Service, and Procurement, as well as Liaison with Centralized Technical Support, JCI factories, and the product team on technical aspect coordination to provide a comprehensive solution offer based on customer specifications.

Beginning with receiving customer inquiries and interpreting customer specifications, attending a site visit to review and define the project's scope, preparing technical proposals by generating a Bill of Materials, developing product solutions for tender submissions, and preparing a techno-commercial proposal.

What we look for

Required

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Extensive knowledge of the data center standards

Minimum 8 years of experience in Presales activities in the data center business.

Extensive technical knowledge in HVAC and Fire systems.

Strong understanding and work exposure in the engineering and data center industry within the MEA region..

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel.

Preferred

Valid UAE Driving License

Data Center certifications from recognized organizations
