- Supervise and authorize inspection personnel for all lifting equipment categories (cranes, hoists, MEWPs, lifting accessories, etc.).
- Maintain and verify compliance with accreditation requirements and ISO/IEC 17020 & 10724 clauses.
- Ensure inspection methods are consistent with current standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- To ensure all inspection are executed in strict compliance with accreditation requirements, and inspection standards.
- Conduct competency evaluations, technical interviews, and annual assessments for inspectors.
- Develop training and authorization programs
- Review and sign-off on inspectors' technical authorizations.
- Perform periodic monitoring inspections on lifting equipment (e.g., mobile cranes, tower cranes, hoists, forklifts, winches) and lifting accessories (e.g., slings, shackles, hooks).
- Approve and validate inspection procedures, checklists, and technical reports.
- Support Quality Manager during internal audits, management reviews, and accreditation assessments.
- To provide technical support and advice on technical integrity related inspection issues to the Asset, Operations teams.
- To support the development of an effective inspection team to enable a clear vision of how to contribute to objectives.
- Maintain direct and regular contact with technical Teams in order to ensure an effective Inspection Service.
- Conduct inspection of scaffolding systems (tube & fitting, system scaffolds, mobile towers) for compliance with ISO,BS EN, and local regulatory standards.
- Review inspection reports, calculations, and load test data before certification release.
- Resolve technical disputes, non-conformities, and client escalations.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for nonconformities raised in assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inspection quality and efficiency.
- Ensure onsite work activities are performed in accordance with the health, safety and environmental policy, company QHSE manual and asset specific control of work procedures and practices.

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil , Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory). - Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection. - Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 requirements. - Certification in LEEA, API, or equivalent. - Certified Scaffold Inspector (e.g., CISRS, CITB).( preferred) - ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 & 17024 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (preferred). - Familiarity with Local accreditation procedures. - Excellent communication, leadership, and report review skills. Skills & Competencies: o Assessment for All types of lifting Equipment. (Mandatory). o Strong understanding of lifting operations and scaffold safety. o Good knowledge of inspection procedures, risk assessment, and hazard identification. o Report writing and documentation skills. o Physical fitness for climbing and working at heights. o Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset. o Good communication and interpersonal skills. o Background in working within oil & gas, construction, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
