Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Technical Manager

to oversee and manage the technical aspects of high-rise building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background as a

Technical Engineer

, and a proven track record of delivering complex, high-rise developments from design to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all

technical operations

for high-rise construction projects from inception to completion. Oversee coordination between

architectural, structural, MEP

, and facade engineering disciplines. Ensure that all

design and construction activities

comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, codes (DM, DEWA, DDA, etc.), and international standards. Review and approve

technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements

, and

material approvals

. Provide technical solutions and recommendations for complex engineering challenges on site. Liaise with

consultants, contractors, and stakeholders

to ensure technical alignment and project objectives are met. Conduct regular

site inspections

and ensure technical quality and adherence to approved drawings/specifications. Prepare and manage technical documentation including

RFI logs

,

non-conformance reports (NCRs)

, and

progress reports

. Support the procurement team in

technical evaluation of vendors

and materials. Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of

engineering excellence and safety

.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

. Master's Degree is a plus.

Minimum 10 years of experience

in construction with a focus on

high-rise buildings

, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role in Dubai or the GCC. Previous hands-on experience as a

Technical Engineer

. Strong knowledge of

Dubai construction codes

, authorities' approval processes (DM, RTA, DEWA, etc.), and project lifecycle management. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Office, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project). Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Experience working with major consultants and contractors in the UAE. Exposure to
