to lead and manage all technical aspects of aluminium and facade projects, from design development to execution and handover. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements while supporting project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage facade and aluminium technical teams including design, engineering, and site support.
Review and approve facade system designs, shop drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and international standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and project teams on all technical matters.
Provide technical solutions for complex facade systems such as curtain walls, unitized systems, skylights, louvers, and cladding.
Support tendering and estimation teams with technical inputs and value engineering proposals.
Oversee mock-ups, testing (air, water, structural, seismic), and factory/site inspections.
Ensure proper implementation of approved designs during fabrication and installation.
Manage technical risks, resolve design-related issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum
10-15 years
of experience in the aluminium and facade industry.
Strong expertise in facade systems, materials, and performance requirements.
Experience with high-rise and complex facade projects is essential.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of facade engineering software is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
