We are expanding our leadership team and seeking an experienced .NET Technical Lead to guide development teams and drive architectural decisions for large-scale government solutions.

Role Summary

The .NET Technical Lead will oversee backend development, solution architecture, and end?to?end technical delivery across multiple projects. This role requires strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, MS SQL, Azure services, microservices architecture, and DevOps processes. The successful candidate will lead developers, define coding standards, design scalable architectures, and ensure secure, high-quality software delivery aligned with government requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of .NET developers through design, development, and deployment cycles Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and system architecture guidelines Architect backend systems, microservices, REST APIs, and integration layers Design scalable database structures for MS SQL Server / Azure SQL Provide technical leadership during code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Collaborate with PMs, BAs, QA, DevOps, and security teams to ensure successful delivery Oversee application security, identity management, and compliance requirements Drive cloud adoption and modern architecture using Azure App Services, Functions, APIM, Service Bus, etc. Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Mentor developers and support continuous team improvement Handle production stability, monitoring, and performance optimization Engage in solution design discussions with clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in backend development using ASP.NET Core and C# Strong experience designing scalable architectures, APIs, and microservices Deep understanding of MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ Proficiency with Azure services: App Service, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage, Azure AD Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of software security, authentication, authorization (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID) Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities Ability to work full-time on-site in Qatar or relocate Applicants must attach valid Microsoft certification copies with their CV (AZ?204, AZ?305, AZ?400, AZ?500, or equivalent)

Bonus Points

Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerized architectures Knowledge of CQRS, DDD, event-driven systems, or enterprise integration patterns Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Blazor, React, Angular) Experience designing solutions for government-grade environments and CIS-compliant deployments Knowledge of Power Platform and enterprise integration (HR, SAP, Active Directory)
