As we expand our engineering team, we are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join us in delivering mission-critical government projects.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer who can lead the design, development, and optimization of secure backend services using the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, MS SQL, Azure, and modern development standards. This is an on-site role in Qatar and requires relocation for international applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using ASP.NET Core and C# Build well-structured RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices Design and optimize MS SQL Server / Azure SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures Work with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and repository patterns Implement integrations using Azure API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, or custom connectors Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or containerized environments Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, and product teams Improve scalability, performance, and security across backend services Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools Ensure adherence to government security and compliance requirements Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing operations

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience Strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core, C#, and .NET 6/7/8 Solid experience with MS SQL Server or Azure SQL Proficiency with Entity Framework Core or Dapper Strong understanding of Web APIs, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, OpenID, JWT) Experience with Azure services (App Service, Functions, API Management, Azure AD) Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows Strong understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, and architectural patterns Excellent communication skills in English Ability to work on-site in Qatar (local or relocation candidates) Applicants must attach their valid Microsoft certificates (AZ-204, AZ-104, DP-300, AZ-500, or equivalent) along with their CV

Bonus Points

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or containerized deployments Knowledge of Microservices or CQRS architectures Experience with Redis, caching strategies, or message queues Familiarity with Blazor, React, Angular, or .NET MAUI integrations Knowledge of government-level security standards, CIS hardening, and compliance Experience with Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Power Apps)
