Technical Lead Engineer - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
Technical Lead Engineer - Dubai, UAE will be responsible for preparing technical documents, managing requirements, supporting project implementation, and overseeing post-sales activities. The role involves working closely with the operations team to design, configure, and troubleshoot ICT, ELV, AV, and security systems, ensuring seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Lead the engineering scope of assigned projects and support operations in post-sales activities
• Provide technical expertise for ICT, Wi-Fi, data, and security solutions
• Prepare and deliver high-level and low-level design documents
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot ICT, AV, and ELV systems including networks and security devices
• Generate Wi-Fi heatmaps, schematics, and topology diagrams for project handover
• Ensure project documentation including material submittals, method statements, and O&M manuals is completed accurately
• Monitor procurement, deliveries, and project PR requests, coordinating with procurement teams
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions, maintain certification levels, and stay updated on emerging technologies
• Track service tickets, prepare weekly reports, and escalate issues as per internal procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, presales, and drafting teams to ensure timely submissions

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecom
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of ELV/ICT systems
• Certified in ELV systems with hands-on experience across ICT, AV, BMS, and structured cabling
• Proficiency in Cisco solutions with exposure to Aruba, Dell, Alcatel, and Ruckus networking technologies
• Strong knowledge of voice, IP telephony, wireless, SD-WAN, virtualization, and network management software
• Skilled in multi-layer security implementation, tiered network architecture, and campus networks
• Excellent customer service skills with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
• Experience preparing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for complex projects
