Job Description

1. JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support across project sites, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with design specifications, and efficient project execution. This role involves reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and resolving engineering challenges to maintain quality and project timelines.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce workable shop drawings. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans. Provide technical support and solutions to site teams for construction-related design conflicts or site challenges. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve design and execution issues. Assist in selecting and approving construction materials based on project requirements. Ensure care of permanent material. Review and update technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and client requirements. Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.

3. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical engineering roles within construction projects in the UAE. Expertise in concrete, steel, and precast structures, and landscape works. Familiarity with local engineering codes and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, technical drawings and documents.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to manage interactions between internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges, clients' feedback and design conflicts. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines under tight schedules. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing technical drawings.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
