Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Facade Engineer

to join our project site in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing facade design coordination, technical reviews, site inspections, and ensuring the quality and compliance of facade systems. This is a site-based role requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience working alongside Tier 1 contractors or consultants in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and comment on facade-related technical documents, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other relevant construction documents. Coordinate design and execution interfaces between architectural (ARC), structural (STR), and MEP disciplines. Participate in the design and detailing of facade systems, ensuring constructability and compliance with project specifications and local codes. Provide technical advice and guidance to the client and other project stakeholders. Conduct and document site mock-up inspections and regular site walks to monitor ongoing facade works. Ensure installation quality and alignment with approved materials and drawings. Assist with or review structural calculations related to facade systems (advantageous). Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline. 7-10 years of experience in facade design and construction, with a strong portfolio of UAE-based projects. Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or consultants is essential. In-depth knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation techniques. Strong ability to interpret and comment on technical documents and engineering drawings. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and facade analysis tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
