Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Technical Engineer - Electrical

to join our team for high-rise construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, design, and execution of electrical systems, adhering to local standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and review electrical designs, layouts, and drawings for high-rise construction projects. Ensure compliance with local regulations, DEWA standards, and project specifications. Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Provide technical support to project teams during all phases of construction. Evaluate and approve electrical materials, equipment, and systems for procurement and installation. Ensure materials meet quality standards and are delivered within the project timeline. Conduct regular site visits to monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in design and implementation. Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, as-built drawings, and documentation for electrical works. Provide progress updates and technical insights to project management. Ensure that all electrical works comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations. Implement and uphold quality assurance practices for electrical systems. Diagnose and address issues in electrical systems, offering effective solutions to prevent project delays. Provide guidance on optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability in designs.

Qualifications and Experience and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high-rise construction projects in Dubai or the GCC region.

Certifications:

DEWA certification and familiarity with local building codes are mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software. Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and energy management. Knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
