Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Technical Engineer - Mechanical

to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems for high-rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for high-rise projects. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors to ensure design alignment with project requirements. Provide technical guidance and support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design and installation issues. Evaluate and recommend suitable materials, equipment, and technologies for mechanical systems. Ensure that selected items meet project specifications and comply with local regulations and codes. Monitor the installation and performance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Ensure that work is executed according to approved designs and project schedules. Ensure all mechanical works comply with local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and Civil Defence). Conduct quality control checks and prepare reports to address any discrepancies. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation related to mechanical systems. Maintain comprehensive records of technical drawings, approvals, and revisions. Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals. Act as a liaison between the design and construction teams to address technical challenges.

Qualifications and Experience and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, with a focus on high-rise construction projects in Dubai or the GCC region.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Certifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP) are an advantage

Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in high-rise construction, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, DM, and DCD). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
