Technical Engineer (Wood & Joinery Manufacturing)
Location: UMM AL QWUAIN, UAE
We are a leading joinery and wood manufacturing company specialized in wooden doors, fire-rated doors, cabinets, vanities, wardrobes, and other customized woodworks. To support our growing projects, we are looking to hire a qualified Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical shop drawings for joinery and woodworks (doors, wardrobes, vanities, cabinets, etc.).
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with production, project, and site teams to clarify technical details.
- Provide accurate material take-offs, cutting lists, and BOQ preparation.
- Support in resolving technical issues during production and installation.
- Ensure all drawings and designs meet fire-rated and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Architectural/Interior/related field).
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within joinery/wood manufacturing in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, fire-rated doors, and finishing standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
