Job Description
Technical Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing the ICT/ELV related infrastructure and BOQs.
Your job scope will also include:
- Prepare BOQs based on customer requirements.
- Provide support to end user customers onsite or remotely
- Establishing ELV environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Coordinate with different service provider to design, review, and implementation the required ICT/ELV project.
- The implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
- Involve in testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and handover.
- Maximizing performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades.
- Maintain system software and hardware asset list
- Report to the Project Manager of site progress and problems being encountered for assistance and guidance.
- Supervision of contractors / vendors working within the projects.
- Schedule and approve Preventative Maintenance (PM) on systems as per site requirements
- Ensures proper inventory levels for spare parts for all facilities equipment.
- Creating Permits to Work (PTW) for the team.
