Technical Engineer - Mechanical Systems - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
Azizi Developments is looking for a seasoned Technical Engineer - Mechanical to support our fast-paced building construction projects in Dubai, UAE. This role requires in-depth expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, along with strong coordination skills to ensure smooth execution from design to handover.

Core Duties

• Review and develop mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals aligned with project specifications
• Coordinate MEP activities across design teams, subcontractors, and construction sites to ensure system integration and accuracy
• Support site teams with technical guidance during mechanical installation phases
• Participate in design coordination meetings, including clash detection through BIM software when applicable
• Ensure all mechanical work complies with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, DCD) and UAE construction codes
• Monitor site implementation against approved drawings and resolve design or execution issues

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of UAE-based experience in building construction with a focus on mechanical systems
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting design and execution
• Skilled in AutoCAD and preferably Revit or other BIM coordination tools
• Strong understanding of site workflows, documentation standards, and MEP technical specifications
