• Position: Technical Engineer - Civil Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineer with a background in civil construction to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes, as well as the ability to manage and coordinate various technical aspects of a project. Key Responsibilities:

• - Coordinate and oversee technical aspects of civil construction projects, including site preparation, foundation work, structural design, and building systems
• - Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations
• - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop and implement project plans and schedules
• - Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues or delays
• - Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy and quality of work
• - Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors
• - Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to technical problems or challenges that may arise during construction
• - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all construction sites
• - Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in construction technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• - Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in the UAE
• - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
• - Experience with project management and coordination
• - Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• - Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations
• - Valid UAE driving license is preferred
