We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Technical Civil Engineer
to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the engineering and project teams by preparing technical submittals, reviewing drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring all site activities meet design and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for engineering issues and approvals.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Analyze and resolve technical design issues that arise during construction.
Provide technical support to project managers and site engineers.
Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and material requisitions.
Ensure all engineering documents are properly controlled and submitted.
Participate in project meetings and provide engineering input for planning and execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
3-7 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor or consultant.
Strong knowledge of structural and architectural drawings, civil works, and specifications.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software (STAAD, ETABS, etc. is a plus).
Knowledge of local codes and authority approval processes (e.g., ADM, DM, etc.).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
