The Team Leader will be involved in the execution of our sales objectives and strategies alongside our Chief Commercial Officer and AVP of Sales.
The Team Leader will drive alignment with our company’s mission, strategic priorities, cultural principles, development of our team members and execution of our targets. The leader will be heavily involved in hiring, onboarding, ramping up, retaining and coaching of our top tier talent.
A substantial part of this role will require close alignment with other parts of the organization including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, HR and Finance teams to name a few! The successful incumbent will need to demonstrate a proven track record of success in leadership within a technology sales environment.
What will you be doing?
Forecast revenue attainment to a high degree of confidence and accuracy
Recruit, hire and retain best-in-class sales talent
Execute go-to-market strategies that maximize revenue potential
Manage, plan, track and execute on sales targets
Call and meeting coaching through 1-to-1 feedback sessions
Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available and integrating support with routine job functions
Analyse sales data to determine areas for development across the sales cycle and for each team member
Develop and create processes to streamline pre-sales, sales and closing processes
Ensure and maintain CRM data integrity
Work cross-functionally across to maximize the team’s ability to execute and deliver
What are we looking for?
No less than 8 years of experience in sales, at least 2 of which in a leadership capacity.
Hold a proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets at both individual contributor (early on in your career) and leadership capacities.
Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, developing and retaining top tier, high-performing talent.
Passionate about creating significant business impact; you are a true problem-solver.
A strong communicator, enabler and effective influencer.
True analytical thinker who has a knack for, and fluency in, data analytics
High level of emotional awareness and sound judgement when it comes to people and business decisions.
Consonantly encourage debate and two-way feedback, and prefer operating in flat/non-hierarchical organizational structures
