The Team Leader will lead and coach a multi-cultural team to provide clients with exceptional and unique experiences. Thanks to a strong experience, the Team Leader will foster the achievement of sales goals and ensure that the highest level of client experience is delivered. The Team Leader will act as an Ambassador of the Maison and demonstrate great attitude towards clients and team members.
DIMENSION / SCOPE:
\xe2\x80\x93 Flagship Boutique (Top 3 worldwide), High Jewellry Temple \xe2\x80\x93 Will manage a team of Sales Associates \xe2\x80\x93 Must be available to work retail hours (including weekends), travel for trainings, client events, etc. as needed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team & Boutique Performance \xe2\x80\x93 Accountable for a team of Sales Associates \xe2\x80\x93 Set individual and team goals \xe2\x80\x93 Proactively assess and manage performance against expectations \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management, being a visible presence and support for all team members \xe2\x80\x93 Support the Deputy Boutique Manager to realize diagnosis based on a solid performance analysis, review of competencies and environment by defining dynamic action plans to achieve Maison, boutique and category sales targets \xe2\x80\x93 Act as a resourceful Manager in finding solutions and seeking new ways to engage the commercial team into the \xe2\x80\x9cNew Retail\xe2\x80\x9d Floor supervision \xe2\x80\x93 Oversee daily operations when on duty and ensure the respect of all Maison\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures and guidelines \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for clients flows when on duty ensuring client experience, waiting time and satisfaction are as per Maison\xe2\x80\x99s standards \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible of all staff flows when on duty \xe2\x80\x93 Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership supporting clients\xe2\x80\x99 interactions when required and assisting Sales Associates on duty when necessary \xe2\x80\x93 Contribute, along with all Team Leaders, to a maximum of shift coverage including Team management & People Development \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for on the spot coaching, ensuring that all sales associates\xe2\x80\x99 interaction meet Cartier standards \xe2\x80\x93 Oversee daily briefing and hold a clear communication with team on duty
  • Oversee the evaluation of the individual performance for your dedicated team and assist other Team Leaders for the remaining team members
\xe2\x80\x93 Define adapted \xe2\x80\x9cindividual development plan\xe2\x80\x9d for all dedicated team members \xe2\x80\x93 Participate to the team engagement around the strategy and vision of the Maison \xe2\x80\x93 Act as an inclusive leader to ensure every team member is respected and has a voice \xe2\x80\x93 Create a positive and harmonious work environment \xe2\x80\x93 Assist the management team in identifying the skills and competencies required in the team for recruitment and development Client Relationship & Portfolio Development \xe2\x80\x93 Establish a client centric mindset within the boutique \xe2\x80\x93 Manage the operational roll-out of all clienteling activities for your team, ensuring such activities add value to all Cartier client \xe2\x80\x93 Engage and support team members in building long term client relationship and developing their portfolios \xe2\x80\x93 Assist boutique leadership in the monitoring of the ROI for client relationship programs and actions Product category \xe2\x80\x93 Act as a point of reference on a defined category \xe2\x80\x93 Provide the boutique and office teams with some feedback (product performance, quality, client related information, local market, competitors, trends\xe2\x80\xa6) creating strong bond with office Managers \xe2\x80\x93 Lead the product category business (morning briefings, internal communication, action plans, visual merchandising, clienteling, training and team animation\xe2\x80\xa6) \xe2\x80\x93 Create enthusiasm around product category
JOB PROFILE:
  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Management
  • Previous Experience in managing teams
  • Affinity of luxury industry; luxury retail is a plus, not a must Skills / abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of retail productivity levers
  • Highly organized, proactive, hands-on, resourceful and motivated - with a positive and resilient attitude
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to organize, animate and grow a large team with genuine values of inclusivity and trust
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle both internal and external stakeholders (staff, partners, clients and colleagues)
  • Ability to credibly represent the Maison and its core values
  • Results Oriented
  • Experience with VIP clients
  • Solid digital skills and interest in new technologies and media
  • Knowledge of the watch & jewelry industry is a plus
