The Mission
We're seeking a hands-on Team Lead who can guide developers in building the AI and simulation backbones of our Digital Twin systems. This role bridges technical leadership and execution--you'll be coding, mentoring, and ensuring our engineering teams ship production-ready systems that transform patient care.
This is a builder's role: less bureaucracy, more designing, coding, integrating, and inspiring.
What You'll Do
Lead & Build
Guide teams of software developers, ML engineers, and bioinformatics specialists.
Design and oversee digital twin simulation frameworks, multi-omics data pipelines, and patient-specific modeling engines.
Ensure high-quality, scalable code that integrates into the Prepaire SDK and broader ecosystem.
Architect & Integrate
Develop and optimize real-time data ingestion, distributed training, and simulation engines.
Work closely with backend/API teams to integrate digital twin modules into clinics, research platforms, and global federated networks.
Mentor & Inspire
Lead developers across continents, setting coding standards, reviewing critical work, and mentoring junior engineers.
Translate complex scientific requirements into technical tasks that developers can execute effectively.
Innovate & Deliver
Drive the creation of predictive AI models inside the GenetiQ Digital Twin.
Turn research breakthroughs into deployable, developer-friendly software components.
You Bring
Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related engineering field (PhD a plus, but not required).
Strong software engineering background with expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and distributed systems.
Experience leading developer teams: sprint planning, code reviews, technical roadmapping, and mentorship.
Exposure to biotech/health AI systems (multi-omics, drug discovery, or patient modeling preferred).
Hands-on experience with chemical informatics tools (RDKit, DeepChem) or structural biology toolkits is a bonus.
Familiarity with federated learning, real-time data systems, or high-performance computing a plus.
