Job Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in the classroom by supporting students in all aspects of their educational experience, including subject learning, behaviour, social development, and classroom management. The role includes working closely with teaching staff to deliver differentiated lessons and interventions that cater to individual student needs in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Support students with social, gross/fine motor, academic, and independent learning skills
• Deliver differentiated lessons based on teacher plans and curriculum expectations
• Prepare and manage teaching resources and maintain classroom safety and cleanliness
• Track and report student progress; help set learning targets in collaboration with teaching staff
• Promote positive student behavior in accordance with school policies
• Assist with daily class routines such as homework, diaries, and reading book organization
• Respond to learning barriers by providing targeted support
• Participate in student assessments for subjects such as Arabic and apply formative/summative techniques
• Observe experienced teachers and apply feedback to develop instructional practice
• Engage in professional development through training, mentoring, and regular feedback sessions
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as lunch clubs, after-school events, and coaching
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student development

Job Requirements

• Experience supporting students in a classroom or inclusive learning setting
• Ability to manage student behavior with confidence and professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to engage in further training, mentoring, and professional development (iPGCE or equivalent)
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and their use in student learning
• Passion for helping students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential
