Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Biology lessons aligned with the British curriculum
• Demonstrate subject expertise and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Plan, prepare, and assess effectively while maintaining accurate records of student progress
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and academic growth
• Incorporate technology to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement
• Support co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, contributing to whole-school initiatives
• Uphold GEMS Education's policies, procedures, and values at all times
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development
• Engage in professional development, contributing to departmental and whole-school improvement

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Biology or Chemistry specialism) or equivalent
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) required
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management skills with proven ability to inspire and motivate students
• Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning pathways
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to contribute actively to wider school life and culture
