We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tea Maker to join our team at our vibrant cafe. The ideal candidate will have a love for tea and beverages, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Tea Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality tea beverages, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders and manage transactions.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding tea selections and pairings.
Uphold food safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of food handling.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations and excellent customer service.
Skills
Proficient in food handling techniques and practices to ensure safety and quality.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is preferred but not required.
Strong skills in food preparation, with an emphasis on attention to detail and presentation.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Ability to assist customers effectively, providing help with their selections while enhancing their cafe experience.
Knowledge or experience in coffee preparation is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike.
