Antal International is working with a leading organization within the retail space who are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Team with internal and external resources to implement company tax savings strategies. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Build relationships and interact with tax authorities & tax advisory firms to provide innovative tax planning & consultation.
• Providing tax subject matter expertise to various business lines including Business Development, Marketing, Legal, Customer Service, and various product groups. Undertaking tax planning initiatives from end to end.
• Reviewing new business initiatives and assisting with identifying Zakat/ indirect tax impacts on the business.
• Supporting the Group Tax team in providing end-to-end tax requirements for projects and business initiatives, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional team members to scope these requirements.
• Researching and advising on various Zakat, direct, and indirect tax matters from the perspective of UAE and KSA business.
• Support on tax compliance and controversial initiatives.
• Managing and coordinating tax audits, including audit preparation, responding to document requests, Litigation support, etc., as may be required

What you\'ll need:

• Professional qualification such as ACA/ ACCA/ CPA Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance or a similar
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in GCC Tax.
• Exposure to the eCommerce Industry is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on and a self-motivated personality
• Enjoys and thrives working with and in a cross-functional team
• Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skill
