Aldar Education is currently seeking a Talent Acquistion Executive - UAE National (Temporary) to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our People and Culture Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools. The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region. Job Purpose: The Talent Acquisition Executive (Temporary) will have an input into company overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals. Ensures the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind. The incumbent will implement set sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience and form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations Responsibilities: Main Duties:
  • Manage the recruiting process to meet hiring goals through the use of effective resource management by using ie the Company’s Application Tracking System (Taleo), relevant job boards and social media
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks as well as maintaining relationship with external recruitment and souring agencies
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible
  • Assess candidates’ information, including CVs, portfolios and references
  • Support organizing and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline and identify talents for the company
  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
Specific Duties:
  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy
  • Maintain company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
  • Maintain and implement recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
  • Reviews and reports employment applications and background checks
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
  • Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees
  • Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives
  • Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar
Minimum Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment - preferably within the Education sector
Job Specifics, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, written and oral
  • UAE National required
  • Good work experience in talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ie Taleo)
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
  • Proficient in using MS Office
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills, written and oral
  • Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure.
  • Ability to think ahead and out of the box
  • Organizational ability of self.
  • Forethought and forward planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
