Job Description

Design & Engineering:

Develop detailed designs for structured cabling (copper & fiber), access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.

Ensure compliance with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, and other relevant standards.

Create one-line diagrams, cable schedules, and bills of materials.

Project Execution:

Conduct site surveys and field verification.

Installation Supervision and Field Inspection

Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems.

Issue redlines and corrective action plans as needed.

Coordination & Communication:

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Support estimators and project managers with scope and sequencing.

Documentation & QA:

Prepare technical submittals, test plans, and close-out documentation.

Maintain accurate records and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification & Skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics & Communication) / 3-Year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering

Training certifications from Corning, Nexans, CommScope, or Panduit

Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred)

Strong understanding of fiber optic standards and best practices

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Good communication and documentation skills

Valid BICSI-Registered Communications Distribution Designer-RCDD

Minimum10 years of relevant experience in the GCC region in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
