Manage various surveying activities of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time constraints, internal and external staffing, and equipment.
Performs scheduling, supervision, coordination, and direction of survey teams and office staff.
Provide direction to survey teams, including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks, and technical guidance.
Identify needs and allocate appropriate resources to complete specific project tasks on time.
Lead group team sessions weekly to meet the specific safety and technical requirements of our clients.
Maintain expertise through continuing education and professional sponsored events.
Supervises and performs a wide range of calculations for construction staking/layout and QA/QC of calculations and work product. This includes preparing information packages for field survey teams, reviewing stake-out information, and cut sheets.
Reviews bid invites, develops cost estimates/budgets and prepares proposals.
Leadership Lead the process of effective leadership to manage direct reports\xe2\x80\x99 performance, recruitment, and development, and to raise their awareness towards the mission, vision, strategy and values to ensure high level commitment towards ESBAAR. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Direct the development in collaboration with other departments and oversee the implementation of administrative policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls to ensure that ESBAAR activities are fully integrated and delivered to best practice and industry standards Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment Direct the compliance of all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, delivery of high-quality products/ services and a responsible environmental attitude. Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Land or Engineering Surveying
Previous work history with a top-tier main contractor or have had previous experience working on large Survey projects.
Minimum Experience:
10 years of experience in Land Surveying, 5 in a lead capacity.
