JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for day-to-day activities regarding purchases.
- Vendor management to get better price, quality & credit terms.
- Responsible for arranging services like Crane hire, boat hire etc., for the vessels as and when required.
- Responsible for clearing of all ship spares for vessels arriving at all ports.
- Procuring necessary store & machinery spare parts for the vessels as requested by Master/Chief Engineer in co-ordination with the respective technical superintendent.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in shipping industry.
- Good in MS Excel.
