Job Description

The role holder will manage global supply chain and CSR governance, performance and optimisation across the dnata Catering & Retail network in order ensure data driven decisions are made at a local, global and head office level. The remit includes overall management of policies, systems and processes including implementation and enhancements, training, user adoption & support, data analysis, reporting and innovation.

Job Outline:
- Governance: In line with the dnata Corporate Governance Manual, drive and manage the adoption of best practice controls, strategy, policies and standards across the dnata Catering & Retail (dC&R) global network, including Source to Pay process design and definition.

- Corporate Social Responsbility: Develop and manage a dC&R corporate social responsibility, sustainability & ethical sourcing framework in line with the dnata?s corporate sustainability strategy and targets to reduce emissions, consume responsibly and promote responsible supply chains. In addition to building a path to parity with competition, this framework will set out minimum expectations, take every business forward, reduce sustainability related risks, and produce the baseline documentation and reporting to share with our customers and suppliers.

- Compliance Reporting: Develop, implement and manage a process for compliance reporting globally. Produce meaningful and accurate compliance reports/dashboards periodically, escalating areas of concern to the appropriate leadership level. Conduct internal audits to ensure business adherence, and support resolution of findings through clear actions and deliverables.

- Data Reporting & Business Insights: periodically consolidate supply chain performance reporting compared to budgets and global best-in-class or industry benchmarks. Ensure accurate data is available to produce meaningful analytics, insights, trends or risks. Transform findings into actionable recommendations and plans at a global, divisional, business, category and supplier level through ongoing executive level reporting. Ensures dC&R leadership are kept up to date with opportunities to manage or mitigate supplier or category risk.

- Financial Insights: Monitor and produce reporting on pressures and cost drivers impacting food and non-food spend categories across the P&L such as CoGS, Other Expenses, Rent, Utilities, etc.

- System Design & Implementation: Project manage the design, development, testing, implementation and rollout of supply chain solutions across the global network including Source to Pay, Spend Analytics, and Commodity Insights. Ensure systems are championed locally, continue to meet business requirements, are effectively utilised, and remain relevant in an ever changing landscape.

- System Management: Provide supply chain system oversight, conduct health checks and change management. Produce reporting packages to ensure the community of end-users across the network are efficiently and effectively using systems. Control the testing and sign-off of enhancements, patches and new releases. Ensure end-user communities are informed of changes and new functionality introduced to allow for end-user education and familiarisation prior to release. Manage business and contractual relationships with solution providers and ensure continuous improvement and relevant enhancements are prioritised as part of the product roadmap.

- Industry best practice & Innovation: act as a subject matter expert and keep abreast of best practice, developments and innovation within and across industries. Enhance, automate and improve business performance or transformation by preparing business cases for the adoption of new processes, systems or technologies and ensure proposed systems or solutions deliver the expected business results. Balances practical and innovative considerations with proposed recommendations.

Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in a related subject Professional accreditation such as MCIPS (or equivalent) and PMP (or equivalent) certifications preferred.

Experience: 5+Years
- Experience in a Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing Technology OR Management Consultancy role preferably in the F&B industry, FMCG, airline catering, airline or other Blue Chip organisation.
- Experience at middle management level is an advantage.
- Experience in an international / multinational organisation is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams at a multinational level.
Knowledge:
- Strong financial acumen
- Demonstrated experience successfully supporting business integration, process or technology transformations at a regional or global level
- Creative and able to think outside the box for problem solving
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies and practices
- Exceptional research and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills are a must
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
