Mission description

• Conduct inspections and audits of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify compliance with quality specifications.
• Investigate and resolve any non-conformities or quality issues identified via RCA/5W methodology
• Identify areas for process improvement within inventory management and quality control functions
• Generate regular reports on inventory performance, quality compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve inventory accuracy and quality
• Undertakes timely investigations with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure that facts are gathered and communicated to concerned business units
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal / external stakeholders
• Accurately reports on KPIs as defined by internal / external stakeholders
• Recommends improvements to Operations standards and procedures and ensures the implementation of these procedures and controls
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for Stock Optimizations (ABC analysis) implementation of processes that warrant quality control on operations in and output
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records through regular physical counts and reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity of stock data in the warehouse management system.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records promptly.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal standards.

Profile

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree (in a logistics, business or related field).
• At least 4 years\' experience in an operational environment of logistics, shipping or freight forwarding industry, leading an operational team.
• Proficient understanding of freight forwarding operations, Bollor\xc3\xa9 Logistics products and services.
• Advanced computer skills (particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Understanding of Warehouse Safety
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures for various types of products.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
