Job Title: Supply Chain Business Modelling Manager Grade: GG11 Location: Riyadh

JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC), a BAE Systems majority owned joint venture Company as a Governance Manager. The successful individual will be working for a company at the forefront of BAE Systems' commitment to industrialise the supply chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working across the SMSCMC Functions and Project Teams will offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of SMSCMC in KSA. The Business & Solutions Modelling Lead is responsible for: · Providing business intelligence to enable SMSCMC to safely and sustainably deliver the required level of operational output whilst identifying and driving cost reduction opportunities. · Identifying common themes affecting performance, making the case to initiate an organic Continuous Improvement (CI) programme. · Assure integrity of modelling assumptions enabling integration of BAESSA fleet modelling assumptions into SMSCMC inventory planning and delivery · Provide assurance of the forward looking Inventory Optimisation output to mitigate risk of overspend of BDS budget. Assure the correct BDS items are being provisioned. · Identifying and influencing targeted changes to maintenance practices to reduce arisings - throttle supply chain input · Rapid generation of intelligent & integrated recovery plans in response to acute increases in arisings. · Undertake performance analyses across the whole supply chain construct throughout the contract period to identify improvements to Identify areas for improved resilience in the system · Reduce cost to BAESSA by ensuring that only essential IP is purchased · Further protect SMSCMC and BAESSA corporate reputations by actively scanning for potential obsolescence risks to operational output RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

§ Ideally educated to degree level in a data, statistics or mathematics related subject § Experience within Prime Contracting § Knowledge and experience of conducting Business with KSA or the Middle East with an understanding of their culture § Significant experience of aircraft operations, maintenance, industrialisation and the supply chain § Expert level understanding of business data sets and business data rules § Significant experience of availability contracting § Ability to build Customer and Supplier relations § Experienced as member of Management Team in large multi-national complex Programme § Significant experience in Business or Data Analysis (Essential) § Experience and competence in MS Office Work packages, in particular MS Excel (Essential) § Experience of Data analysis toolsets (Desirable)
