About the role:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Global Supply Chain Operations Finance Manager based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to efficiently manage and provide financial leadership in implementing and sustaining the regional Logistics strategy. Financial competency required include strong acumen in controls, financial planning and analysis, accounting and statutory reporting, while providing financial support to local, regional and global customers.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering and Decision Support - Act as primary partner to the Regional Director of GEM Supply Chain, 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL), Country and Regional Finance Leaders, and Global Supply Chain Finance. Advise in setting appropriately objectives for Logistics performance; support various modeling scenarios on P&L leverage, costing analysis of 3PL. Assist in setting appropriate financial targets, while linking strategies and tactics to financial objectives. This position will support all financial requirements for the regions supply chain functions including \xe2\x80\x93 planning, quality, HR, and others as needed.
  • Financial Reporting, Planning and Close Management - Responsible for leading compliance with budgeting/ forecasting/Strat Plan calendar & guidelines (i.e. timelines, guidance communication, targets etc.). Monitor and measure business performance to ensure maximization of opportunities to meet or exceed targets; Provide guidance/advice to ensure performance targets are achieved.
  • Month End Closing: monitor and support the closing activities, partner with Global Business Solutions (GBS) Accounting Team and ensure the closing is completed in compliance with BSC policies. Support internal and external audits, contribute to quarterly balance sheet review with Corporate Accounting, and Assurance of financial controls. Key deliverables: performance and gap analysis vs plan/fcst, Monthly GSC Plant Package and 9 panel reporting, costing/volume analysis, QBR\'s/MBR\'s, OPEX, CAPEX, etc.
  • Value Improvement, Productivity and Innovation - Establish, maintain and/or leverage value improvement culture, identify and evaluate operational efficiencies. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity and analysis, increase efficiencies, manage costs while keeping a strategic vision.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or finance
  • Finance or Accounting discipline; MBA or CPA equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 7-9 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and controlling (mix of audit and real sector experience is must) - Experience in healthcare industry a plus
  • Ability to network, communicate and influence in a matrixed organization, with multiple countries, crossing GSC Operational and Commercial environments
  • Experienced in US GAAP
  • SAP & Hyperion knowledge is a must
  • Full P&L management experience including closing, reporting, and forecasting activities
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations with different business models and transactions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, as well as ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture
  • Analytical thinker, accountable, self-starter, hands-on, problem solver, agile communicator
  • Business partnering: Customer focus - Consistently identifies (internal) customer needs and ensures the effective delivery of high quality and value-added solutions & services
  • Flexible and change-oriented; demonstrates adaptability and readily supports and drives change and continuous improvement in a high growth regional market
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (essential)
