Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE:

As the Production Supervisor at ArabExpo, you will play a critical role in managing the labor workforce involved in event setups and teardowns. You will be responsible for coordinating labor activities, ensuring efficient execution of tasks, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your leadership, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage labor operations will be instrumental in delivering successful events and ensuring the smooth functioning of event logistics.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Labor Workforce Management:

Supervise and lead the labor workforce during event setups and teardowns.

Assign tasks to laborers based on event requirements and project timelines

2. Efficient Resource Allocation:

Coordinate with event managers and logistics teams to determine labor needs for each event.

Allocate labor resources effectively to optimize productivity.

3. Quality and Productivity:

Ensure that all labor tasks are performed efficiently and according to established quality standards.

Monitor productivity levels and implement measures to enhance workforce efficiency.

4. Health and Safety Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices for the labor workforce.

Conduct safety briefings and provide necessary training to laborers.

5. Equipment and Material Management:

Oversee the proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials used by the labor workforce.

Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.

6. Problem Solving:

Address any issues or challenges that arise during event setups or teardowns.

Collaborate with relevant teams to find effective solutions.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of labor hours, work completed, and any incidents or accidents.

Prepare reports and provide updates to the management team as needed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Criteria

Education

Field of Study

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in labor-management or related fields are advantageous.

Relevant Experience

Proven 5 years of work experience as a Labor Supervisor or a similar role, preferably in the event management or construction industry.

Skills

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a labor-intensive environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse labor teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
