Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To ensure safety and security of daily cargo and mail operations in a shift pattern, performing multi-skilled tasks to provide reliable and cost-effective cargo and mail services to customers while overseeing services provided by external service providers throughout the network. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in deploying operations staff on a shift basis, to process cargo, courier and mail throughout the flydubai Cargo network
• Ensures operational efficiencies in line with allocated capacity and maximizes revenue generation objectives.
• Identifies process improvements in export and import areas, in close coordination with key stakeholders.
• Drives operational excellence with contracted vendors by managing key performance indicators and service levels.
• Performs regular quality checks and proper completion of paperwork as well as provide feedback to respective stakeholders and addresses any problem areas identified.
• Participates in audits, assessments and any projects and takes the required follow up actions.
• Conforms to safety & security standards and maintains schedule integrity, to provide the highest level of service quality standards on a 24/7 shift basis.
• Ensures the operational performance of various special handling products such as dangerous goods, live animals and valuables.
• Supports the implementation of the local/regional operations business plan.
• Attends load ability requests for outsized packages and support the Senior Officers in decision making.
• Intercepts and takes decisions on queries and clarifications sought by load controllers, operating crew or any other stake holders to achieve operational efficiencies.
• Prepares cargo load plans and communicates with Ground Handling Agents for transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English
• 3 years minimum relevant work experience
• Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
• Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA CBTA 7.3A or UAE GCAA FIT4.1D) Live Animal Regulations Perishable Cargo Regulations Safety Management Systems Aviation Security
• Valid UAE Driving License

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
