Supermarket Supervisor

We are looking for an

organized, reliable, and proactive Supermarket Supervisor

to oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth store functioning, efficient staff management, and an excellent customer shopping experience. This position requires

strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and a focus on operational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of supermarket staff to ensure efficiency and productivity. Oversee product stocking, organizing, and merchandising according to store standards. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal at all times. Lead, train, and motivate staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Monitor and manage inventory levels; conduct stock checks and place orders as needed. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly. Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and maintain a secure work environment. Assist in opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and securing the store. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Support promotional campaigns, ensuring correct product display and pricing. Manage staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage during busy periods. Report maintenance, supply, or security issues to management. Support the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in

supermarket or retail operations

, with

supervisory experience preferred

. Strong

leadership and team management

skills. Excellent

communication and interpersonal

abilities. Good

organizational and multitasking

skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of

sales, marketing, and inventory systems

. Physically able to handle merchandise as required.
