Job Title:

Structural QC Inspector (CSWIP)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and quality checks for structural steel fabrication and welding activities in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and NDT reports. Monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications). Inspect fit-up, welding, dimensional checks, and final visual inspection. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality compliance. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and relevant documentation. Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and quality managers for inspection activities. Ensure adherence to company quality assurance procedures and international standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.). Participate in internal and external audits when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 Certification

(Mandatory) Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of

5 to 8 years

of experience in structural fabrication and quality inspection, preferably in oil & gas or heavy fabrication industries. Strong knowledge of welding processes and inspection techniques. Familiarity with international codes and standards (AWS D1.1, ASME, ISO, etc.) Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
