mselect is looking to hire a QC Inspector Structural (Brownfield) for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Downstream Industry with an international consultancy company. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities Ensure that the quality requirements of the fabrication, construction and installation activities, as detailed in clientaEUR(TM)s main contractor-approved QC procedure and plans, are implemented in accordance with clientaEUR(TM)s approved project documents Ensure that contractors, subcontractors, and Vendors have the required competent resources, implant internationally acceptable practices, and deliver a product in compliance with Corporate and Project Quality requirements Monitor all site and fabrication yard welding activities and ensure all welding joints are welded according to approved WPSs Attend all PQRaEUR(TM)s mechanical testing to ensure complete implementation of corporate standard requirements Witness all contractorsaEUR(TM) welders' qualification tests and evaluate their visual and NDT results Witness all site or fabrication yard NDT daily activities, carry out interpretation for test results, and evaluate the findings outs Monitor the stage (in-process) inspection of offshore steel structure fabrications, and top-side facilities at contractor fabrication premises and verify the product conformity to corporate standards, project specs, and international codes/standards Report daily to the QA/QC Engineer and advise him on the clientaEUR(TM)s main contractor compliance with contract procedures and standards and any matters affecting quality

Requirements Minimum high technical school or equivalent welding/NDT certification from a recognized organization such as AWS, TWI, API, ASME, ASNTaEURetc, TWI CSWIP 32 or AWS SCWI in welding is a must and ASNT LEVEL II in NDT A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Downstream Industry with an international consultancy company, third-party inspection/certification Company, EPIC contractor or end user in major project implementation is essential
