Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail- Structural Draftsman to join our team. As a Structural Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software. Your drawings will be used by architects, engineers, and construction teams to bring our projects to life. You will collaborate closely with the design team to ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications and industry standards. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are essential for this role. Responsibilities:
- Create precise and detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Interpret and translate design concepts and sketches into accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
- Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, building codes, and industry
- Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies.
- Make revisions to drawings based on feedback and instructions from the design team.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD and Revit software developments and industry best practices.
- Proven experience working as a Structural Draftsman or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong knowledge of structural drafting principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- A degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Higher diploma (Preferred)
