Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled
Structural Drafter
to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must haveat least 2 years of relevant experience within the UAE
, with a strong understanding of local authority requirements, building codes, and structural drafting standards.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
structural design drawings
, layouts, and details usingAutoCAD
andRevit
, based on engineer specifications. Collaborate closely with structural engineers totranslate design concepts into precise technical drawings
. Ensure all drawings comply withUAE building codes, authority requirements, and international standards
. Coordinate witharchitectural and MEP teams
to maintain design integration and resolve potential conflicts. Support the preparation of documents and drawings forauthority submissions and approvals
. Maintain an organized and updated database of structural drawings and project documentation. Assist in preparingas-built design records
at project completion.Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree
in Civil or Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience
as a Structural Drafter within the UAE (consultancy experience is preferred and mandatory). Proficiency inAutoCAD
andRevit
(mandatory). Good understanding ofUAE authority approval systems
and requirements (e.g.,TAMM, ADM, AAM
). Strong knowledge ofstructural drafting standards, design detailing, and UAE codes
. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team
