Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Designer to join our engineering team for a major offshore oil and gas project in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing structural design deliverables in support of the engineering phase (including FEED and detailed design), with a strong focus on Saudi Aramco offshore project standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed structural design deliverables including:

• Structural layouts, sections, and details for offshore platforms and jackets
• Fabrication and construction drawings for offshore structures
• Weight control and material take-offs (MTO)
• Develop and model structural elements using S3D (Smart 3D)
• Interpret and apply Saudi Aramco design standards and specifications
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers and other disciplines
• Participate in 3D model reviews and ensure clash-free integration with other systems
• Incorporate vendor and subcontractor information into final design packages
• Support the preparation of design reports and documentation for review and approval

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design for offshore oil and gas projects
• Strong hands-on experience with S3D (Smart 3D) design software
• Demonstrated experience working on Saudi Aramco offshore projects (must-have)
• Excellent knowledge of offshore structural systems including topsides, jackets, and subsea supports
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, AISC, DNV, etc.)
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Design or related discipline
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
