Structural Design Engineer
Job Description
Qualification Minimum of B. Tech /B. Eng qualification in Civil Engineering. M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be a plus point. Experience Minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience as a Structural Design Engineer . Experience in a Heavy Metal Industry will be a distinct advantage. Knowledge on the following areas will be advantageous. Packaging of diesel generating sets Design & fabrication of metal tanks E-houses, Switchgear containers Metal structures Piping design and associated engineering calculations. Minimum software knowledge required to perform the duties. StaadPro Solidworks Simulation Ansys AutoCAD /Gstar CAD Other areas Design optimizing and validation. Preparing technical /engineering documents. Guiding draftsmen with good engineering practices. Review and verification of drawings for customer submission & production.
