We are currently looking for a Structural Design Engineer Summary Requirement for a talented Structural Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Dubai. This position is responsible for primarily structural analysis and design of our design projects. Experience working on Villas Structural Design Projects is essential. Must have good evaluation, design modifications and execution with good organization skills. He also interfaces with customers and their engineers and consultants to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and incorporated in designs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carry out structural Detailed design of residential villas and buildings up to G+12 as per Dubai Building Code / DM / DDA / Trakhees requirements. Knowledge in Soft Authorities (NOC's) requirements and deliverables. Approved by Dubai Municipality as a structural designer at least for G+12 structural design level Coordinate within the design team and other disciplines when and as required. Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of his own work and the structural safety of his designs. Understand and implement document control procedures for calculations and drawings. Carry out structural Detailed design (under limited supervision). Communicate design requirements and practical construction details clearly in sketch form. Prepare mark-ups, check drawings, coordinated list of affected drawings, During design and design revisions process. Working Knowledge, RFI / RFA responses, Material Approval for civil and steel works as Site support during Construction. Able to communicate through technical correspondence, and advance knowledge in technical reporting and writing. Educational/Experience Requirements Required: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from reputable and recognized Institution. Has a minimum of 5 years of work experience in structural designing partnered with a Bachelor of Structural Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of design, documentation, and project coordination experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience in Luxury Residential Villas, Commercial, Hospitality sector. Strong previous peer consultant relationships based on successful project experience. Demonstrated competency is required for the following structural design packages such as ETABS, SAFE, & PROKON. Working knowledge of REVIT Structure and Navisworks is required. SOE Membership with current active status. DM DEQ Structural Engineer with Building Height Classifications. With Attested Degree Certificate, that can be requested for Bachelors Degree Equalization from MOE-UAE. Preferred: Local & International (KSA and GCC) project and/or client experience within the past three years Four and/or Five Star resort hospitality experience with leading luxury brands to include at a minimum complete hotel scope, restaurants, retail, spa and wellness facilities, meeting and convention facilities, entertainment and performance facilities, casinos, pool/waterscapes, landscapes, and area development of multi typologies of Projects.
