Our Leading Architectural Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on prestigious new projects. Successful candidates will have a proven Consultancy background as a Structural Design Engineer on large scale high rise hospitality and residential projects in the UAE. This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities:

• As an already accomplished Structural Engineer you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the design, coordination, specification, code compliance of the buildings structural engineering.
• Carry out structural engineering calculations for steel structures, concrete works and other general civil works, as required for the project.
• Provide input to Designers and Draftsmen for preparation of drawings, review and check the drawings and guide the designers.
• Interact and coordinate with other disciplines for input, other information as required for proper completion of work, and also interact and Meet Client, Vendors and Other Third Parties, if required, for the project requirements.
• Review and check design calculations, drawings, to ensure technical correctness and conformance to project requirements, including review of 3-D model
• Excellent communication skills essential for interdisciplinary and interoffice coordination
• Proven experience in designing iconic, landmark buildings and structures projects.

Structural Design Engineer Experience:

• Bachelor's and / or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from a reputed university.
• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in design and engineering of steel and concrete buildings/structures.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in design and detailed engineering of iconic buildings.
• Experience in high rise hospitality and residential projects is essential
• Familiarity with local/regional standards and international standards AISC, ACI, ASTM, European Standards, DIN, and standard industry practices.
• Proficiency working in 3-D environment (Revit);
• Proficiency in use of software like STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM Connect, MS-Office Suite, MathCAD, Revit

Contract length: 3 months Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
