An Architectural & Engineering Consultancy firm in Dubai is currently looking for a Structural Engineer. Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum (2 to 5) years of structural experience in a Consultancy/Construction Firm. Knowledge in AutoCAD is a must and should be able to handle drafting works independently; Should be familiar with construction drawing, detailing and related technical requirements. Should be familiar with DM, DDA, Trakhees rules & regulations. Competent, hard-working, fast-learner, can work with minimal supervision under tight schedule and a team player. Must be available immediately. Must be licensed DM Engineer G+4 and must be familiar with DM, DDA, Trakhees and any other authorities standards for submission. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare reports, designs, and drawings. 2. Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses. 3. Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately. 4. Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction. 5. Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval. 6. Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure. 7. Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers. 8. Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness. 9. Administer contracts and manage projects. 10. Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations. 11. Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes. Requirements 1. Degree in civil or structural engineering (essential). 2. 6 years of work experience as a structural engineer (essential). 3. Professionally registered with the Institute of structural engineers. 4. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. 5. Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines. 6. Three-dimensional conceptual skills. 7. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. 8. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10.
