Developing the structural design for new product range.
Highlight any design risks and opportunities in project requirements.
Development of structural design drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings.
Preparation of structural design report and calculations.
Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural & MEP) and resolve any clashes that may rise.
Development of a fully coordinated BIM model ready for drawing & BOQ extraction.
Development of Revit parametric families and project templates
Follow and enforce BEP.
Steel / Concrete & accessories quantity take off schedule.
Preparation of a fully coordinated LGS CNC files for fabrication.
Preparation of a fully coordinated hot rolled steel fabrication drawings for fabrication.
Preparation of a fully coordinated precast concrete production drawings.
Preparation of typical and connection details.
Supporting Responsibilities
Assisting the line manager in achieving timely design submission.
Assisting the line manager in managing draftmen and modellers.
Assisting the line manager in raising project RFIs.
Assisting the line manager in closing non conformance reports(NCR).
Support estimation department with quantity take-offs of structural elements (steel, concrete, accessories).
Support the factory operations team in resolving manufacturing or fabrication issues that may rise.
Provide necessary specifications to supply chain for material procurement.
Skills
Education:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Preferably ABET Accredited or EQ)
Intermediate - Senior
Years of Experience:
5-8 Years

Technical Skills: We seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive structural engineer to assist in streamlining creative design and technical development of off-site solutions and products, utilizing BIM for all phases of design delivering high detailed models and shop-drawings up to LOD 500.

The candidate will be required to coordinate and review designs and drawings (may include drawings of other disciplines and sub-contractors), monitor BIM Model Progress (clashes, standards, etc), research technical solutions, prepare project schedules.
