Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Structural BIM Modeler

to join our team, with a focus on converting 2D CAD structural drawings into detailed 3D BIM models using DM BIM standards. The candidate should have strong technical skills in both CAD and Revit software, and experience applying standardized BIM workflows to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Convert 2D structural CAD drawings into accurate 3D BIM models following DM BIM standards Collaborate with Architectural BIM modeler, and coordinators to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies between CAD and BIM. Maintain quality and accuracy of BIM models, ensuring they are fully coordinated with architectural disciplines. Update and revise BIM models as per design changes and project requirements. Support continuous improvement of BIM processes related to CAD to BIM conversion.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline. Experience (minimum 3 years) in structural BIM modeling, especially converting CAD drawings to BIM. Strong proficiency in

Autodesk Revit (Structural)

and

AutoCAD

. Familiarity with DM BIM standards and ability to apply BIM standards to the BIM model. Knowledge of structural design principles and construction documentation. Ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings accurately and translate them into BIM models. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a multidisciplinary BIM environment. Knowledge of international BIM standards such as ISO 19650. Knowledge in Industry Foundation Classes (IFC)
