Furniture and interior fit out company is looking for an organized, experienced store keeper to be responsible for all stock management in warehouse. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Job description:
- Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders.
- Processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders.
- Reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
- Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors.
- Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
- Record the store material receipt and consumption on a daily basis.
- Update the stocks periodically.
- Inform the concerned team of the status of balance material in order to raise further requests.
- Follow up with material suppliers, with prior consent from purchase department, to ensure timely supply.
- Maintain records of departmental tools, machinery etc.
