We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper Assistant to support the management of materials, tools, and equipment at our construction site. The ideal candidate will assist the Storekeeper in ensuring smooth inventory operations, accurate record-keeping, and timely distribution of materials to meet project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Storekeeper in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and equipment.
Organize and maintain storage areas in compliance with safety and company standards.
Record and update inventory in the system, ensuring accuracy of stock levels.
Issue materials and tools to site teams upon approved requests.
Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material requirements.
Assist in conducting regular stock checks and reporting shortages or damages.
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Follow company safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized store.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in storekeeping within the
construction industry
in the UAE.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced site environment.
